3. Certifications

3.1 View certification table

To view a list of the certificates for your organization, click on Certifications in the Data Management section of the left menu. This will display a table with that shows all certificates for your organization. Certificates are in one of three statuses:

  • In progress means that the certification has been applied for, but not yet granted.

  • Granted means that the certificate has been granted by the certifying organization, and is currently valid.

  • Expired means that the certificate is no longer valid, as the end date has passed.

The certificates can be sorted by the values in any column by clicking on the column header. To see which certifications will expire soon, sort by expiry date.

3.2 Add a new certification

You should add a new certification instance every time you apply for a new certification. You can do this as follows:

  • Click on Certifications in the Data Management section of the left menu.

  • Click on the Add New button on the top right menu.

  • In the modal that pops up, select the certification type (Fairtrade, Organic, RFA, Café Practice, etc.).

  • Click on Create Certification, then click Save.

3.3 View & edit certification details

As you go through the certification process, you can associate the certificate with the cooperatives that it covers, update the certification instance with the latest data, and attach files to it to create a complete record of all relevant data.

To view all the data for a certification:

  • Click on Certifications in the Data Management section of the left menu.

  • Select the certification whose data you want to see by clicking on anywhere in its row in the table.

  • This will show the following:

    • Certification type: The certifying organization.

    • Granted status: A flag showing whether or not a certification has been granted.

    • Valid Period: The period for which the certification is, was, or will be valid.

    • Premium Amount: The amount of premium associated with the certification.

    • Organizations: The cooperatives covered by the certification.

    • Attachments: Any relevant files that have been attached.

If you have edit permissions for the member, you will be able to edit any field at any time. Once you have completed your changes, you can click on the Save button to save them securely on the AgUnity Cloud.
